|CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING IDEAS|

Dear Noteblair,

One of my favorite festive activities is a solo afternoon by the fire place, listening to jazz Christmas music, glass of prosecco, surrounded with wrapping paper & ribbons. Truly there is nothing that bring me more joy than wrapping Christmas gifts & putting that extra effort into making them looking pretty, in another word adding my personal touch to each one of them. Throughout the years I have gone through different styles however the basics always stayed with me.

Wrapping paper

The classic & chic kinda gift wrapping has always been my thing. The brown wrapping paper is the absolute best base for any gift wrapping. It gives you the blank canvas you need to style up the gift to your desire. The printed wrapping papers are a great way to go as well. However I like to keep them chic & minimal. Printed wrapping papers do not need much of accessorizing. Use them as is or just add a very simple ribbon.

Ribbons

The simplest, easiest & chicest way is adding a beautiful ribbon to your gift. For a classic look you can go with a velvet ribbon.

If you want something more glam a sparkly ribbon will always add the extra touch. (The Pearl & snowflake one is my personal favorite).

The chiffon silk ribbons are so unique & they make the best bow.

Glam it with

I have always loved using paper Doilies to add texture to gift wrapping. I know a bit different however it makes the gift so beautiful.

Without overdoing it I love to add few extra touches to any gift wrapping. Pine Cones, dried fruits & greenery are my favorites. I love using pine cones that have a wire on them so the assembly of them is so much easier. As for greenery I honestly use what I can find in our backyard. You can buy fresh ones for super inexpensive from Trader Joes. & as for dry fruits just cut fresh ones thinly & either dry them in oven or under sunlight & use them as decorations. (you can buy them as well if you don’t feel like doing a DIY).

Add A scent

It is in the little things right? The White company’s Winter scent is my absolute favorite scent of this season. Our house always smells like it entire winter. ( candle & room diffuser). I use the room spray on gifts & every single person that I gift always says how the scent warms their heart. ( If they are sold out of room spray use the oil. Just 1-2 drops)
