Growing up I never had enough money to splurge on super expensive skincare or makeup products. after many years on research & honestly spending double the amount of money of high end products I came across products that work wonders. Some of these products are not even replaceable in the high end market. Some of the best skincare & make up products are found in drug store so never feel pressured to spend a ton of money to see good results.
With that being said, let’s get to my FAV, ride or die products that will perform well & won’t break the bank.
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water-For All Skin Types
Before going in with cleanser I would HIGHLY recommend loosening up the surface makeup. if not the cleanser will do that & won’t be able to cleanse the deeper tissue of the skin. I use this micellar water in order to remove the surface makeup, eye shadow, brows, mascara(I don’t use water proof mascara ). this cleanser is so gentle and it doesn’t break me out or clog my pores. It does’t leave an oily reside either. On days that I want to do my makeup in the afternoon but I don’t want to wash my face, I use this with a cotton pad and it takes the built up oil away without drying my skin.
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara-Carbon Black
If it is Kim K & Mario’s fav then it is fantastic. It is the blackest black mascara I have ever came across & it is a dupe for the LANCÔME HYPNÔSE DRAMA mascarawhich you all know is one of my favorites. It has a very nice brush that let’s you quote lashes & it is thick enough to make them dark and voluminous and thin enough as it doesn’t look spidery.
No7 Serum Boost Face Sheet Mask
I was recently introduced to this sheet masks. It is one of the best sheet mask I have ever used. I used 3 kinds from it & I love them all. The have a whole so you can secure it to your ears & also they have a chin section which is my fav thing ever. I always say bring down your skincare to your neck and chest area as these areas that shows the sign of aging easy on. Also you can do other things since it is secure and tight on your skin while pampering your skin.
Milani Baked Blush-Luminoso
Another Mario & Kim K favorite. Been using this blush for years now & it has a unique formula that i always go back to. It is not a matte blush however It has the most beautiful shine to it that is not glittery or intense. specially during summer his blush is a must have. Also since it is baked it is pigmented & you will be using it for a long time.
NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Cream-Abu Dhabi, London, Amsterdam
One of the most comfortable, easy to apply & beaut full liquid lipsticks. They are so creamy that they just glide on. Liquid lipsticks can be a little overwhelming for some people & this is your friend if you were ever scared to try liquid lipstick. Because it is so creamy, it doesn’t show the cracks of the lips which we all naturally have. It wears off faster than other liquid lipsticks because of the creamy formula but it stays on long enough and it looks so pretty on the lips.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer
If you are an OG, you remember how much I use to use this. It is the most lightweight concealer ever. It covers under eye without it being heavy. i used to use this instead of wearing a full face of makeup on day to day based. A little concealer, bronzer, mascara and lip oil was my routine.
Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish
If you fake tan as much as i do, for sure you need a strong body scrub that will work & also it won’t dry out your skin. All of soap and Glory scrubs are my favorite however this one smells like, dark, tall & handsome. It is a beautiful blend of oil & salt that exfoliates, deep cleanses & improves skin texture & brightens the skin tone.
Ardell Eyelash Demi Wispies Black
The best lashes, Easy to apply, thin band, looks beautiful on every eye shape & they are so lightweight that makes applying so easy. Pro tip on applying lashes, When you apply the glue let it dry a bit, at least for 30-50 sec let is try or it to get tacky & then apply. it is so much easier.
Biore Self Heating One Minute Face Mask – Natural Charcoal
One of my favorite, on to go, effective, efficient masks! My favorite to use before a big shoot, or in the plane. it is so quick and efficient. Skin feels completely cleaned out after using. pores look so much smaller 7 the heating is such a soothing effect specially when you are cold. Love taking this traveling as well since it is a tiny packet.
Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation
It is not secret that I love a good drugstore foundation. They step up their game majorly recently & I do have a few drugstore fav foundation, but if I had to choose one I would go with this one. the coverage is insane, It is build able, beautiful shade range & it is not cakey or heavy. even tho I have dry skin It doesn’t sit on my pores.
