| My daily vitamins routine |

Dear Noteblair,

Ever since I had my duodenal switch surgery, my vitamin life changed majorly! At first I wasn’t taking this new vitamin life seriously, but after experiencing a major hair loss & energy I realized why my doctors were pushing me in taking my vitamins on time. I started very late on taking vitamins but better late than never right?
After doing tons of research & speaking to few doctors I realized the liquid form of vitamins is the best way since liquid gets absorbed to body faster than supplements that need to be digested. So i try to take as much as i can as a powder( so i an mix in smoothie) or liquid form.

Multivitamin
Starring with the most important vitamin that everyone needs to take daily. I got introduced to DL.MD Liquid Multi-Vitamin Supplement via skinny confidential podcast. The owner of the brand was a guest on the show & everything about this products sounded appealing to me starting with the fact it was liquid. I tried few chew able multivitamins but it was so hard for me to chew them as they didn’t taste nice. so this liquid multivitamin have been lifesaver because it doesn’t taste bad at all. If you are looking for pills Trader Joe’s one is one of the best ones and it is easily digestible.

Calcium
Is great to prevent bone disease. It is mostly recommended to take 500 mg for 3 times a day to complete 1,200 to 2,000 mg daily dose for a better absorption. Calcium citrate is the preferred form of calcium. This is the most difficult form of powder I take as it truly tastes nasty to me!

Vitamin D
Living in LA is a blessing but at the same time I avoid sun because skincare…!So I Take 800 to 1,000 (IUs) of vitamin D daily. I usually take my vitamin D with my calcium supplement. (It is included in my calcium vitamin)

Vitamin B12
I have been getting vitamin B12 injections for 4 months now & I cannot tell you how much it changes my energy level. litterly when almost due for another shot I can feel my energy being so low! I prefer injections compared to taking pills since the injections are more effective.

HUM NUTRITION
Glow Sweet Glow Skin Hydration
Gummies are not recommended when getting a barbaric surgery at the beginning, however after 6 months it started not bothering me & I have been actually seeing results with these gummies. This one is for skin & it is full of vitamin C & E. it tastes amazing as well.
Hair Sweet Hair Growth
Taking this one for hair growth and the little baby hairs i just started growing is a proof that this actually works! I absolutely love the taste of this one as well. It is a great source of biotin.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Supplement Powder
It contains 20 grams of collagen per serving & it has been an staple in my smoothies. it doesn’t taste like anything so you consume it without even noticing its there! It is bioavailable which means it is easier for the body to digested & absorbed. You can mix this in your coffee, shake, acai bowl. litterly anything!

Food
Is one of the most important aspects of health, wellness & also beauty from within! I try to consume foods that help grow hair like eggs, spinach, berries, avocados, sweet potatoes, nuts & fish. I try to eat as much as these foods as I can, because not only they help my body to be healthier, they also help with my skin & hair!

I know it seems like a lot of work trust me I know! The entire day I go back and forth with vitamins. What helped me to stay on schedule and don’t forget is #1 alarm & #2 a good old pill box that is in my bag! so no mater wherever I am or whatever it is that I’m doing, I have access to my vitamins & they will not be neglected. They do make the biggest difference in my health specially after the surgery! See your doctor and do a blood test and your doctor will tell you what you are deficient in. obviously we are not all the same!
