Dear Note Blair,

Skin care….isn’t this the most complicated part of being a women? (I know first world problems!!) As far as I can remember myself my battle with my skin was a never ending! One day good the other day dry, one day clear the other day pimple all over my chin and forehead….then I got into my 20’s and little bumps started showing up on my chin…first reaction? Oh great now I have to deal with this little bumps plus the other big ones!!! So apparently I have rosacea…if you are not familiar with this skin disorder I will link it for you so you can have more informations about it. Rosacea causes the face to have redness at all the times plus depending on the area you have rosacea it makes all bumpy. It is not an actual pimple it’s just under the surface bumps which makes pores look even larger than what they are…if I say I pended thousands of dollars on skin care it’s not an exaggeration I did! From drug store to high end brand and finally I found products that work great with my skin….rosacea is not curable. You can just make it look better so as my dermatologist would say don’t spend you money for no reason.

I will also list of things you can do and foods that you have to avoid if you have rosacea. Long story short this products word amazingly. They keep my skin clean, hydrates, plumped and radiant. . .

For the serum and the night oil I use Sunday Riley Power Couple Duo: Total Transformation Kit Since I’m not an expert on explaining how beauty products worked I will just list what it says in Sephora’s website. Because it exactly does what it says….

“A transformational power product duo that combines lactic acid and trans-retinol ester to exfoliate and brighten the skin. In use together, this power product duo uncovers more radiant, moisturized skin while promoting evenness of skin tone. Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment exfoliates and moisturizes the skin while smoothing the appearance of fine lines. Luna Sleeping Night Oil contains a powerful, yet gentle trans-retinol ester and moisturizing botanical oils to reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, and sun damage while preventing flakiness and irritation. For skin accustomed to treatments, apply one to two pumps of Good Genes in the morning and four to five drops of Luna at night. For most effective results, and for skin accustomed to these treatments, use products together, layering at night. Use Luna first, allow to absorb into skin, and follow with Good Genes application.”

I try to use this combo every other day. One because it’s pretty pricey and the other reason is because I have a very sensitive skin I just don’t want to overall my skin with too much of acid.

As of my cleanser and regular moisturize I’ve been loving the first aid beauty Face Cleanser and First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. They work both amazing for day time and night time. The cleanser is very gentle on the skin but it clears all the heavy makeup that I wear. As for the moisturizer it is very tick and if you are not a big fan of tick moisturizers you should stay away from this. It is not oily what so every but it is very tick.

                        Love,

Blair
