Beginning of last year I started cleaning out my closet & sticking to items that are timeless & I know I can wear them year after year. One department that I struggled the most was my shoe department. Narrowing them down was a real struggle so I divided my shoes to 8 categories & limited myself to max 5 pair each category. So here are my 8 pair of shoes for the most versatile shoe wardrobe.
WHITE SNEAKERS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Don’t mistaken these with athletic shoes. Think of these as your glam sneakers. They look great all year round. For Fall & Winter I love wearing them with sweater dresses & leather leggings. For Spring & summer they look great with shorts, skirts & jeans.
TRAINERS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Whether you are taking your morning hot girl walk or you are a gym girlie you need a good & cute pair of trainers. My favorite one is the ones I got from Amazon. They are affordable & so comfortable.
SANDALS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
If you live somewhere hot like LA these will probably be a pair you wear a lot. Personally I’m not a Flip flop girl so I like to go for sandals even for poolside or for the beach.
BALLERINA FLATS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
In my wardrobe this is the most versatile pair. I wear them all year long. They look great with jeans, dresses or skirts. I think a pair of black & beige one is so chic & will go great with many outfits.
COMBAT BOOTS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I didn’t ever think I will be a combat booth girl but oh well. Favorite way of wearing them is with comfy sweater & leather leggings. Just add chunky jewelry & your combat boots & your look is complete.
BOOTS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
As much as I love knee length boots I don’t think they are the pair that will go with a lot of looks. A pair of simple black ankle length boots will pair so well with pants as well as dresses or skirts.
COMFORTABLE HEELS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
& preferably closed toe pair of comfortable heels. Just the the ballerina flats these are another pair that will come in handy a lot for making your look elevated. They look great for businesswear & also if you will be walking for a long time but want to wear heels these will be your go tos.
EVENING GLAM SHOES━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
These are the shoes that will take any simple outfit to the next level. A simple jean can be elevated with a good pair of glamorous heels. Obviously they look fantastic with dresses as well. You can have one pair fantastic glam shoes that are comfortable & wear it with so many outfits.
