1 cup all-purpose flour (125 g)
¾ cup cocoa (65 g)
¾ teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup condensed milk
1 teaspoon instant coffee or ground espresso powder
1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter(room temperature)
1 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs(room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pack Kit Kat
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup dark or bittersweet chocolate chips
1/2 heavy milk
1 teaspoon instant coffee
Pre heat oven to 325˚ F. Line the bottom and sides with parchment paper.
Dissolve the instant coffee in the condensed milk & a little hot water & put aside to cool down.
Mix flour, cocoa & baking powder into a medium bowl. Sift a second time. Set aside.Add butter & mix until butter is all dissolved. Add sugar little by little & mix while adding. Add one egg at a time to the mixer (wait until the egg is combined before adding the next, about 20 seconds). Scrape down the sides, at least 2 times during the egg adding step. Add one egg at a time to the mixer.Add vanilla & the coffee mixture & mix until combined.
Heat heavy cream over medium low heat. Add instant coffee & dark chocolate chips & condensed milk together. stir until it is smooth. Wait few minutes for it to cool down then pour on the cake. crumble the Kit Kats on the glaze & enjoy!
