My current skincare routine

Ever since I got back from London I have been trying to bring my skin back to it’s normal state & I can honestly say it never looked this good. You all know I’m a skincare junkie & I tried pretty much thousands of skincare products. throughout the years I learn about my skin & what it needs to actually see result. I do get botox every 6-9 months which obviously is a big part of my skin care routine

I know you all like it when I tell you exactly why I like a product & when do I use it, so here is my current skincare routine. Obviously this list will not be permeant as I try new product and switch things up however this routine is what brought my skin back to life after my recent trip.

MORNING

Before workout:

+ Rinse face with water with no cleanser.

+ Paula’s choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 – It fights against redness, wrinkles & fine lines, dehydration & it also controls oil. & obviously it is SPF 50.

After workout:

+ Cleanser – CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser – It is a super gentle cleanser that removes makeup & oil while leaving skin super hydrated.

+ Toner – Curel Hydrating Water Essence Toner – This works great on my dry areas & it is super hydrating & it calms my rosacea. It is suitable for sensitive skin as it is alcohol free.

+ Prosacea Rosacea Treatment Gel – I have used pescription creams before & they do work. However I have been looking for something a bit more affordable & also accesible to all & this product did not disappoint. I have been absolutely loving using this every day. It controls redness & irritation.

+ Vit C serum – Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C + Niacinamide Serum one of the only vitamin C products that actually make a difference. It brightens, improves skin tone & texture, & reduces the appearance of dark spots & hyperpigmentation.

+ Moisturizer – Paula’s choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50

+ Bronzing Drops –  St. Tropez Tan Tonic Glow Drops – Gives me a bronzy glow without irritating my skin. Mix in 6-7 drops in my moisturizer. It is infused with skincare ingredients like Niacinamide, Vitamin E & Hyaluronic Acid.

+ SPF – First Aid Beauty Mineral Sunscreen – Yes I add another layer of SPF at the end because you can never be too careful. This is a new product in my routine that I’ve been absolutely loving. I is a lightweight mineral sunscreen (SPF 30) with an ultra-sheer tint that blends seamlessly into skin for a satin finish. It works great underneath makeup.

EVENING

+ Cleansing balm – ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm – If you have not yet tried this balm to remove your makeup I need you to do it RIGHT NOW. It melts makeup without clogging your pores & irritating skin.

+ Cleanser – CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser – Always double cleansing when I have makeup on.

+ Serum – Lancôme Advanced Génifique Radiance Boosting Face Serum – One of the best serums I have ever used. It strengthens skin’s moisture barrier to visibly smooth, hydrate, plump, even tone, & reduce fine lines.

+ Eye Cream –  Summer Fridays Light Aura Vitamin C + Peptide Eye Cream -A vitamin C multitasking eye cream is all you need for a visibly brighter & firmer look.

+ Moisturizer – CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion – Another fragrance free & oil free product that is suitable for sensitive & acne pron skin. It contains niacinamide to help calm the skin & uses MVE Technology to deliver hydration throughout the night. It also contains hyaluronic acid to help retain skin’s moisture.

+ Exfoliate – Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator – I recently introduced this product back into my routine. for the longest time I stayed away from exfoliating products until I heal my skin barrier. Currently I exfoliate 1-2 week.

INGREDIENTS I LOOK FOR IN MY SKINCARE PRODUCTS
Niacinamide (Smooths the look of fine lines, reduces the look of redness, & visibly evens skin tone)
Vitamin E : Help protect from environmental damage, soothe skin, & reduce the look of redness.
