what marked me the most while shopping as a plus size teenager or even a kid was when I was shopping for shoes. Back in Iran I always had issues finding boots & I perfectly remember a day that I was shopping with my aunt & found a pair that fit my wide calf! I wore that shoes for 4 years I think because it was such a moment for me to found those!
Fast forward to now…We have the luxury of wide fit shoes as the demand got higher & thankfully some companies took the matter in their own hand & crated a range specifically designed for wide fit people.
Even tho we still lack wide fir range in most high end designer however some companies like Asos & River Island have some trendy & affordable items to offer. Here are some amazing shops you can buy wide fit shoes that look fantastic.
Asos
One of the best places to go. The variety is insane. From heels to sneakers to boots they got it all! Their items are very trendy & the prices are pretty affordable. My channel dupe flats were $13 from Asos & I’ve been wearing them for 2 years now!
River Island
More on the high ed of things but the items are one of a kind quality & they are classics!
Boohoo
Not only they have a wide fit range, their shoes generally speaking runs true to size and not narrow. I have always shopped from their regular range & never had a problem. They have very affordable & trendy items. Block heel collection which we all love is amazing at Boohoo.
DSW
Another not so trendy yet you can find quality here. I mostly like going to DSW when I’m looking for boots. They have the best collection of wide calf boots.
Torrid
They have a fantastic trendy collection of shoes for all seasons. If you are looking for low heel sandals & boots this is the place to shop.
Chinese Laundry
They do not have a wide range collection, however they shoes run true to side. Super comfortable & very nice design. They are quality items at such an affordable price.
Anthropologie
A unique collection of premium quality boots & sandals that will steal your heart.
Sam Edelman
The best place for classic pumps. They have such a variety of pumps with different colors & different patterns. Alos if you are a Loafer lover you will love the classic collection.
Beside all of these, from the list of designer items I only found Manolo Blahnik shoes to have the best fit. They don’t have a wide width range however after wearing the shoes for couple of times they opened up a little. they offer different kinds of heel hight which is absolutely amazing.
