- Do not hang your knits. The weight will drag it down & make them look deformed. Fold them instead.
- Never take items off of the hanger by pulling them from the neck. Always from the bottom of the piece to not stretch the neck.
- If possible air dry your pieces, specially linen items.
- Do not dry colored/black items in direct sunlight. It can fade the color quicker.
- Use velvet hangers to avoid items from falling.
- Steaming is better than ironing your pieces so use steamer as much as possible.
- Keep you expensive pieces, such as designer handbags or shoes in their dust bag/box, away from direct sunlight.
- Some items need to be hand-washed so don’t feel lazy or if you must dry cleaning is always an option.
- Read the label. If it says dry clean only then listen to the label.
- Put lace & delicate items in a laundry bag before putting them in laundry.
